This past summer, I had the privilege of photographing Reagan and Gavin’s wedding in the charming town of Bryceville, Florida. Their day was filled with heartfelt moments, thoughtful gifts, and unexpected surprises that made their wedding unforgettable.

Reagan, the bride, went above and beyond to create meaningful connections with her loved ones through special gifts. For her mother, she commissioned a beautiful painting of the two of them together on her wedding day. Watching her mother open the gift was such an emotional and touching moment, filled with tears of joy and gratitude. For her bridesmaids, Reagan also had thoughtful gifts, sparking laughter and heartfelt hugs as she celebrated the women who stood by her side.

Reagan even had a special surprise for her groom, Gavin. She created a booklet of boudoir photos, which one of her bridesmaids delivered to him while she was getting ready. Gavin’s reaction was priceless — caught off guard but clearly moved by her sweet and bold gesture.

As the preparations wrapped up, Reagan shared a first look with her father, which was nothing short of emotional. Seeing her father’s eyes light up when he saw his little girl as a bride was a moment I’ll never forget. Shortly after, Reagan had her first look with Gavin, creating yet another magical and intimate moment before the ceremony.

The ceremony was planned to take place outdoors, surrounded by nature, but just 15 minutes before it was set to begin, the skies opened up, and it started to rain. The entire wedding party sprang into action, moving everything into a nearby barn. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a beautiful, cozy setting, full of warm and intimate vibes that perfectly matched the couple’s personalities.

After the ceremony, the weather cleared up, and the celebration continued under a covered area just across the way. The reception was breathtaking, with glowing string lights, joyful music, and plenty of laughter. Reagan changed into a fun, reception-ready dress that allowed her to dance the night away with ease.

As the evening came to a close, the couple ended their magical day with a sparkler exit. Watching Reagan and Gavin walk hand in hand under a tunnel of sparkling lights was the perfect way to close out their incredible wedding day.

Despite a few unexpected changes, Reagan and Gavin’s wedding was a true celebration of love, family, and resilience. It was such a joy to capture these memories for them, and I’ll always remember their special day in Bryceville, FL.

Congratulations, Reagan and Gavin! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful journey.
